![]() In response to the recent hateful graffiti posted at PHS, Henderson Bay leadership students would like to say that we support and stand tall with PHS students in dealing with this situation and in working to create an accepting and loving environment. It is discouraging to hear that people are making such hateful comments about each other and the community around us. School should be a safe place for people to be comfortable being themselves, which is why this crime was such a horrific thing to do. Here at Henderson Bay, we accept and encourage each individual's views and beliefs. However, when it is blatant, hateful speech, like what happened at Peninsula High School, even if it’s intended as a joke, it should not be tolerated. To those who are spouting hateful rhetoric, you are not the kind of people we want to represent our school and district. Statements like this are created out of ignorance, and ignorance breeds ignorance. It is our duty to call out and condemn these sentiments. ~Henderson Leadership

The purpose of this contact is to assist the student in meeting course objectives So, have you done a contract? Do you have an opinion on how well it worked for you? Please share. |
