Who is Lisa? She teaches Science. But what else do we know?
Lisa went to high school in upstate New York. Her favorite thing from high school was hanging out with friends. She is a very happy and easy going woman, who is excited for her teaching career. She started out her college at Western University and ended up transferring to MSU. She majored in biology, also minored in political science. When she got out of college her original plan was to have a career in environmental law. After she had kids she realized how much she loved them, so she began searching for a teaching career. She was offered a better job at a different school but she loved the idea of Henderson Bay, She loved what this school's mission was and the atmosphere of Henderson.
Lisa’s goal for this year is to be very productive with class work but also have fun and enjoy the year. When asked what she loves about this school she said she loves all the students and the staff and the relationship everyone has. I took the liberty of interviewing a few of her students; I asked Nick Jenkins about Lisa’s classroom environment he said, “ it’s a perfect classroom environment”. Multiple interviewees said that Lisa is a nice, caring and outgoing teacher. So, from all of us at PAWS, thank you Lisa for joining our family. ~CHASE |
