We all have friends, human and animal friends. Young and old, and so on and so forth.
Some of us do not have pets, but I know a few of us do have some furry, feathered friends that we love and call ours. A few month ago my Aunt and Uncle got two cats, both sisters. One is black and orange, she looks kind of like two face from batman. And they got a grey brown cat. They were very shy at first, because they were kittens. Truly the grey one would always hide in the crate she came in and Claire the two faced one would always hide underneath their bed. They showed up one before I left for a retreat and the other showed up after I left for the retreat. They were super shy and didn’t do a whole lot of running around or talking. Now, a few months into having these cats, they are very wild. You will be sleeping soundly, and everything will be fine, you're having a good dream. And all of a sudden you wake up to pairs of footsteps running around on the floor, running from something. I have woken up more times than I can count to the two crazy cats chasing each other at one in the morning. I find it funny, it wakes me up early enough to where I can go investigate and get my lunch made a bit earlier than I otherwise would. They act like an alarm clock when I actually hear them. If anyone else has cats or any pets that like to run around, you all know what it feels like. To wake up randomly to them running around like the crazy amazing animals they are, as long as they don't mess the house up. I love living with pets, they keep you company and are fun to watch, pets of any kind are everyone's best friends. With the right personality of the animal, there will be an unbreakable bond. Love the animals you are given, they have a life they can only live once, unless you believe that cats really do have 9 lives. But animals are the best things that have made my life so much better and easier to live because of the less amount of stress there is. Animals are things that have helped a lot of people around the world, with depression, anxiety, mental/physical disabilities and many more reasons. Animals are something a lot of people take for granted and they should be appreciated a lot more. They sense what we are feeling and if we are hurt or not, and will help us if their connection with us is strong. All animals deserve more appreciation than what we give them. Animals help us in every way they can just like any other living person. They may not understand what we are saying to them, but always thank your animals, because they deserve it after all they have done for us. I thank all of the animals in the world, for all of their help with they people they live with. ~Jai |
