Fortnite And Schools
|
Fortnite currently is the most popular game in America. It is a free game that is multiplayer (up to four people) and is available on Xbox, Playstation, and PC. The game is a battle royal style game where you try to eliminate the other players or teams (modes very between: solo, duo, or squads).
As of recently. Fortnite has been available on mobile devices (but is not that available because you have to sign up and be invited to play) and students have been playing fortnite at school. Not only is it just fortnite, but it's another game that is similar to fortnite called PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG for short. Unlike Fortnite mobile, PUGB doesn’t need an invite and is available to anybody. Which is also causing an influx of students to be playing that as well at school. It's distracting students, and making the wifi a lot slower. Some teachers have been talking about it and it is becoming a problem. Even Henderson Bay’s history teacher, Greg mentioned that “You guys need to stop playing Fortnite at school. It's slowing the Wifi down”. ~Jared |
